A BEER TOWER WITH A LOT OF PERSONALITY

The branding agency Tromper&Tromper reached out to us to propose that we take part in a unique project for Damm: to collaborate in the creation of an exclusive beer column for StreetXO, the new restaurant by chef Dabiz Muñoz.

The restaurant is a tribute to the street food places in the markets of big oriental cities such as Tokyo or Hong Kong.

The challenge was to create a beer column reminiscent of the neon signs of these large oriental markets and the illuminated signs of street restaurants. At the same time we had to capture Dabiz’s characteristic personality. Tromper&Tromper proposed a column in which the restaurant’s logo – an illustration of the chef’s face with a crest of chilli peppers – would stand out, occupying a large circular backlit surface.

To add the icing on the cake to the project, Aplimet’s creative studio designed a beer handle in the shape of a chilli, thus playing with the symbolism of the restaurant and keeping to a chromatic palette of reds and blacks.

A success that is the result of the close collaboration between Tromper&Tromper and Aplimet, to capture the personality of a brand, a venue and, in this case, of a renowned chef, in a beer handle that becomes an important element of attraction at the retail outlet.
